Does anyone here watch CNN anymore?
I had not tuned in for months, but with David Gregory the only other option (not an option for me), I decided to see what was happening at CNN. 5 minutes. It only took 5 minutes to remember how horrid CNN has become.

I'm curious if anyone here even considers CNN an option anymore.

Cash Cab for me, thank you.

to see her waltzing into the Capitol and saying to the camera, "Who wants Cleeeeeeean House?" Every American watching will say to their teevee screen, "I do, I do! Clean the House, Niecy. Please."

50. I'd watch that. Funny thing ya'll mention Clean House. I was supposed
to be working Sunday because I was hanging with a friend who was in town from Virginia on Saturday so I didn't get any work done on an article I was writing. So, I was working on it Sunday and I went to take a break in the living room with my s/o. She was watching Clean House and I got sucked in and sat there for THREE HOURS!

I guess I like the show! I know I'd love to see Niecy kick some congressional ass.

24. Omigod, it's my favorite show on the junkbox. Here's a link.
It's on the Style Network. It's fabulous, like watching a train wreck. It's amazing what pigs Americans are.

http://www.mystyle.com/mystyle/shows/cleanhouse/index.jsp

Niecy Nash makes sure these inert, lazy, American pigs stop their foolishness and mayhem and start keeping their homes clean.

That's the real appeal of the show. Not the home makeover. That's incidental.

Why do people vote the way they do? Just look at how they live.

11. I only watch CNN for cursory information. It is horrible if you want in-depth coverage on anything.
If you want coverage on issues with the environment, the state of public education, health care, American infrastructure, the war in Iraq, the economy, corporate corruption, etc., you are going to be terribly served. CNN, in that case, would not be for you. You are better off using the internet to research the issues, sadly.

watch CNN some. When I go to the gym to workout I am forced to watch FOX, it seems like that's the only channel they have. It's a health club ran by the Catholic Church and it's in West Virginia so I am surrounded by Freepers.

30. Fareed Zakaria's program, GPS, on Sundays is worth watching
He usually has experts on panels to lead discussions instead of the usual talking heads. It's one of the few news programs I make sure to watch. I also watch Anderson Cooper when he's anchoring his show. He's not too bad, occasionally goes in depth on a topic, and I find out the latest MSM talking points. Plus I can do my daily Soduku while watching it, since it doesn't require a lot of attention to follow.

31. Not an option... Aqua Teen Hunger Force has more interest for me.
CNN is Corporate Propaganda mixed in with a whole lot of infotainment. CNN is on the bottom of my list for finding news that I would deem reliable. I get my news from a progressive radio channel, (AM-1090 in Seattle). It is on in my home at least 12 hours a day.

(For The record, I was once stuck watching part of an episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force...I now believe that Aqua Teen Hunger Force is a form of torture. I would easily confess to killing BOTH Kennedys if ever forced to watch it again!)

37. I was just watching it.
I flip between all of the news stations just to see what they have to say and what they are covering. They're not so bad...many here think they yield more influence than they do. The problem is with the American people. Most are just too lazy to investigate an issue themselves. They want to be spoon-fed. They need to be blamed just as much as the media.

41. Nope.
If it's on a tv screen, I don't watch it. I do get bits and pieces of radio news from NPR and the local community radio station when I'm driving.

I don't do enough driving for that to make any difference. I get my news from newspapers and my 'puter.

As a matter of fact, I rarely watch video news on the 'puter, either. I like text. I don't want to sit and watch somebody talk. I can read, and think, faster than they chatter.

The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are more unbiased, accurate, informative, and timely than CNN is. Why would I waste my time on CNN? It's either fluff, spin, or -- worst of all -- invented controversies.
