Honestly though, the bikers may have laughed at the tire inflation remark, but I can tell you from experience no one is more keenly aware of the effects of proper tire inflation, clean air filters, engine tuning etc. than us bikers. Gas mileage means range on a vehicle with a limited sized gas tank, fuel management is life on rides with hefty distances between fuel stops.
