7. Who is that Howdy Doody standing behind his right shoulder? |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-06-08 10:01 AM by livvy
I've heard him before and he really annoys me, but I can't think of his name. Is he from Florida?
He's talking right now.
edit...nevermind, they just put his name up. Putnam. His nickname has got to be Opie. He's too young to know who Howdy was.
These people are shameless. And what's with the Newt being there? Disgusting.

13. Funny thread! Big Red, indeed. |

I prefer the Opie Putzman name.
He really is annoying. I've always wanted the opportunity to slap him, and I'm not a slapper.
Thanks for the link!

8. Newt will say ANYTHING to advance an agenda he's pushing |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-06-08 10:41 AM by JHB
Never stop reminding people of that. Never stop reminding people that he was one of the architects of the "rancid partisanship" that now clogs politics.
Remind people how he blamed Democrats for Susan Smith drowning her kids ... until it was revealed that being molested by her "Robertson '88" stepdad probably impacted her morals more than Democrats could have.
Remind people that when two people murdered a woman and cut her open to steal her as-yet unborn baby, Newt blamed "moral decay created by the welfare state" ... until it was revealed that only the victim was on welfare.
He will say ANYTHING, without regard to facts.
Therefore, remind people that nothing that comes out of his mouth can be trusted. He's WORSE than a liar. There's a reason his own allies coined the phrase "Tell Newt to Shut Up".
He doesn't care whether what he says is truth or lies, as long as it riles people up and stampedes them in the direction he wants.

12. Neut is pretty much my favorite liar. |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-06-08 10:20 AM by old mark
Note that over his entire life he has benefited from Federal money in some form, from the grade schools he attended, through high school and colleges, his schools received Federal money. He had draft deferments as a college student that kept him from service in the military in the Vietnam period. Every hour of his time spent as an elected official, and every nickle of his lifelong pension and benefit plan are paid by taxpayers money, and I have no doubt he managed to hang on to a few bucks that came his way when he was in office. Yet his entire career was and is based on belittling civil service and other government workers, on bemoaning "tax and spend liberals", and "big government" in general.
He was a major attacker of Bill Clinton in his amourous adventures, yet Neut had several very young ladies on the side while he was married to his first wife, the one he left for another woman while she was hospitalized with cancer, as well as his then-new wife.
Neut is slime with a capital S. He was 3rd in line for the presidency at one time, which made me pray for Bill Clinton's good health.
He is a fat little sociopathic shit who has no morals at all and will say anything if he profits by it.
My favorite liar.

14. Maybe as part of the bill, every citizen could be given a certificate for one of these. |
|
Then everyone could get the drilling urge out of their system.

15. The more Newt is dragged out by the Pubbies, the better Dems will do. |

I am surprised the Republicans haven't figured that out yet. The only Republican with more negatives than Newt is Tom Delay.
