Exxon/McCain '08

The Democratic National Committee on Wednesday is launching an “Exxon-McCain ’08” campaign, complete with a gas-pump logo and garish red buttons, bumper stickers and yard signs.

The party is opening a Web site where campaign “chum” will be available for download, and the goodies will be distributed to state parties and organizers nationwide.

The fantasy presidential campaign is a rebuke to the Republican National Committee for tire gauges labeled “Obama’s Energy Plan” that were distributed to campaign reporters this week.

And it reinforces a new ad by Barack Obama in which the announcer says: “Oil's filling John McCain's campaign with 2 million dollars in contributions.

“The oil industry was so generous with its campaign largesse,” a party official says, “John McCain has not only put Exxon on the ticket — but he has graciously stepped aside and is allowing Exxon ... to run at the top of the ticket."

If the governor needs to check his tires, he can stop off at the RNC, a couple of blocks away.

John McCain decided on a running mate for November, and it wasn't among the usual suspects. No, with the recent flood of oil money into John McCain's campaign, and his plan to give Big Oil $4 billion in tax breaks, the presumptive Republican nominee chose to run on the GOP ticket with Big Oil.

Find out what "Exxon John" supports -- money, oil, tax breaks and a "gas tax holiday" gimmick to give more money to Big Oil -- and, see what he really means when he says his energy plan is "all of the above."

by Walid at Unconfirmedsources.com: http://www.unconfirmedsources.com/index.php?itemid=3454

McCain now belongs to Exxon-Mobile(Washington D.C.) Ucs News- Exxon-Mobile Chairman Rex Brings announced the oil giant has official signed an agreement of intent to purchase the Republican Presidential candidate Arizona Senator John McCain. The deal estimated at 17 billion dollars will give Exxon-Mobile exclusive rights to the energy policy of any forth coming McCain administration.

The deal, a combination of common stock, soft money campaign contributions and cash, will insure the rights and privileges of Exxon-Mobile will "be preserved". According to the McCain campaign the deals will cement the Senators commitment to the interests of big oil and help clarify the nations energy policies.

11. $4 billion tax cut for oil companies, nothing for drivers
McCain’s Tax Plan Will Cut Taxes For Oil Companies by Nearly $4 Billion—Including $1.2 Billion for Exxon. A study by the Center for American Progress Action Fund noted that the corporate tax rate cut included in the McCain tax plan $ldquo;would deliver a $3.8 billion tax cut to the five largest American oil companies”—ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Valero Energy, and Marathon. According to their analysis of Exxon’s financial statements, the company would receive a tax savings of $1.2 billion under the McCain plan. $ldquo; The McCain Plan to Cut Oil Company Taxes by Nearly $4 Billion,” Center for American Progress Action Fund, 3/27/08
