Nor am I going to discount out of hand the fact that not only has there been no independent and full inquiry into what happened that day but the staggering amount of evidence that has been accumulated over the last seven years that what actually happened wasn't anything close to what we've been told. Nor will I ever forget that this evidence has been totally ignored by the mainstream media, except to deride the messengers that have brought it forward. Nor will I ever forget that this dismissive attitude is prevalent throughout the political spectrum. There are a lot of things I'm never going to forget -- or forgive -- that allowed this country to be hijacked by a criminal conspiracy and remain in its clutches even to this day.

Although there have been many individuals with varying degrees of intelligence, expertise and qualifications who have adamantly called for a new, independent and thorough investigation of the events of 9/11,

Branch of our government
Agency within our government
Major political party
Elected official from either major party
Branch of our military
Major corporate news organization
Nationally recognized personality within a corporate news organization
Academic or scientific foundation or institution
Civil rights proponent organization
Environmental protection organization
Religious organization
Trade union

On and on and on -- NOT ONE respected organization within US society or abroad has called for the above independent and thorough investigation of 9/11. Some might say that this in itself is PROOF that there is no need for such while I maintain that what it represents is a total failure and complete abrogation of responsibility by every institution that is supposed to represent the best, brightest and most respectable qualities that humanity has to offer!

Except for a brave few that face the ongoing prejudice of abject ignorance, I am utterly and completely disgusted and disillusioned and no longer have ANY faith in my fellow human beings what so ever. EVERYONE, including here at DU (all in all) is STILL acting as if we know what happened and as if we know who was responsible and that this knowledge based on NOTHING more than unsubstantiated accusations, mostly emanating from an administration KNOWN for its lies and deceit, is sufficient for the evisceration of our Constitution and "never ending war" abroad.

We don't even know how many have been MURDERED in the name of this obscenity! And everyone just goes on with their day-to-day.

It's going to take more than a hug, my friend, much, much more.

Don't I know it. I am astounded at the disconnect. How people can say these people are treasonous and not to be trusted but don't see the absolute neglect at the very least to protect us is astounding. That is putting it mildly.
