About a week ago, a person that has connects with the Republican Party left me a message on my website. I could it has a threat about I did not take any action. But my question it, what could the Republicans do to me? I'm not worry and I don't think I've done anything wrong.

However, you might want to pass that threat along to the police and to the ISP where it originated. Send it to [e-mail]. Anonymous email threats aren't that anonymous. The ISP will know it has a problem and deal with it.

Anytime you broadcast your real name on the internets, you may get trouble. I'd be careful if I were you. Freepers are good at making life hard for you because you're a Democrat.

Most people who threaten on the internet are just cowards, who do so because they can hide in anonymity and let their cruelty and venom run amok. They are essentially annoying fools who can cause no more trouble for you than you let them. That said, there are some grade-A whackos out there. Try not to put any personal information out there that can be used against you (address, phone number, ssn, etc..) Some of these people will ruin your life for no more than the sick pleasure of causing pain.

So be active, but be careful, or as a man once said "be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove" Well, maybe not the harmless part...
