McCain says Iraq "surge" is his model for fixing the U.S. economy
McCain wants Iraq-style 'surge' to right US economy

by Jitendra Joshi 52 minutes ago

WASHINGTON (AFP) - White House hopeful John McCain called Wednesday for a policy "surge" to right the teetering US economy, but was scorned by his Democratic rival Barack Obama as a creature of Washington.

McCain, despite new polls that showed Obama leading on the economy, insisted that he had the right approach to stem a tidal wave of job losses and home foreclosures.

"Our surge has succeeded in Iraq militarily. Now we need an economic surge to keep jobs here at home and create new ones," the Republican said at a kitchen cabinet factory in the distressed state of Ohio.

9. Apparently war and war-related activities are McCain's answer to everything.
What's he gonna do? Threaten to BOMB Congress if they don't repeal the ban on off-shore drilling? Threaten to INVADE blue states and steal their assets to give to the red states? This guy is seriously crazy.

13. The Surge Will Cure Cancer!!!
Congenitally blind people over 40 years of age have received normal vision after merely touching the Surge! The lame walk again and the bald shall grow new hair, albeit on their backs, not on their scalp.
