I think the Edward's affair speaks volumes |
|
Every time a repuke gets busted having some sort of an affair (it seems to happen once a week), it quickly gets swept under the carpet and the pukes don't mention it. When it is a Dem, it is a big story and there is a lot of discussion.
Sure, some people here think it isn't worth talking about, but others here are calling Edwards out. It's interesting to see how Democrats demand some integrity of there leaders and the pukes turn a blind eye to their parties indiscretions.
I'm not judging John Edwards at all on what he has done, but I think this is a perfect example on how the left leaning Americans really think about who they support as their leaders and how the right leaning dipshits don't give a shit about their leaders, as long as they win the game.
Just a quick thought. :)

Yes Edwards did cheat. But what happened was between consenting adults which makes this none of our business. I am also ok with the affairs on the pukes side as long as it is between consenting adults. The problem with their party is that their holier than thou attitude.

2. I don't care about anyone's sex life either |

But here is how it works...
Many people still believe that cheating on a spouse is a sign that you are not trustworthy and lying about it doesn't help.
John Edwards was running for president as a Democrat and there was certainly a possibility that he could have gotten the ticket. Knowing that he had an affair and the discovery of such could easily be used to hurt his chances of getting enough support, he ran for the position anyway. Many people look at that as a threat to their chances of having a Democrat in the Whitehouse.

JFK and Bill Clinton managed. As a party we need to get over this sexual stigma.

6. Using your logic, then Giuliani's infidelity should project onto McCain and the Republicans. |
|
But, as we know, the media gerbils don't look at it that way.

Read what I said again. This affair has nothing to do with the election as it stands.
