Condoleezza Rice was in Georgia on July 10
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJzmUDMSaOQ

The U.S. Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, is in Tbilisi for talks with President Saakashvili. The country's accession to NATO's Membership Action Plan and the situation in Georgia's breakaway republics are expected to dominate the agenda. Ahead of the visit, Rice said the U.S. administration believes it can help Georgia resolve the frozen conflicts with its breakaway republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

-----------
This mess is no accident. As Former Ambassador Robert Hunter said on BBC yesterday, the US has facilitated Saakashvili's planned attack on Southern Ossetia. The timing was no accident either.

What had me sad was hearing that young Georgians are hiding because they are being called up by the army. Good fugging grief, how many young people must die for oil?

10. Please stop genocide of Ocetian nation!
Starting 1989 nationalistic fascist Georgian government tries to annihilate and expel Ocetian nation from its territory. As the result of Georgian warfare against small nations, tens thousands of Ocetian, Abhasian, Armenian and Russian people died since 1991. The scale of genocide is concealed by Georgian mass media. Brutality of Georgian fascists and freaksville torture of the local population overrode the torture of fascists during the Second World War.

Georgian mass media stir up the sickness of Georgian nation – they believe they are only people deserving life on Georgian territory, they are exclusive, elitist; other nations should move out or be killed.

At the moment the tragedy is happening – Georgians systematically shooting dead the Ocetian people in their own houses or burying under the falling homes.

Georgian fascists destroyed Ocetian settlements and town Tskhinvally – they lay even with the ground.
The number of victims buried by Georgian fire under the ruins cannot be calculated – it is amounted to thousands.
Georgians destroyed all hospitals. Medics cannot work under the fire of Georgians. People saved in underground stores do not have food, water, electricity, gas for 3 days – they cannot go out because of Georgian fire and cannot move out of town because Georgians are trying to take hold with tanks and armored vehicles of the only road from the town to tunnel controlled by Russians.

At that Georgian president insincerely is saying that he tries to make constitutional order and peace, and suggesting lefthandedly to cease fire. All his actions are aimed towards USA and NATO (he even speaks with his nation in English so that you understand him).

USA has strategic interest in region – pipeline going through Georgia. So official government of USA will never realize that Georgian president is criminal politician betrayed its nation (in fact people in Georgia do not want war), instead government of USA will support him (several hours ago a train with NATO armored machines came to Georgia).

The next victim of Georgian fascists will be Abhasian nation.

People in USA and Europe please force your politicians to stop Georgians.

Up til recently Israel had supplied Georgia with weapons and advisors. Russia tells Israel, basically, "you know we CAN do the same to you and your country by sending weapons, etc.. to countries who could attack you". Israel backs down. This time. What about next time? Will they keep letting Russia blackmail/bully them?
Would THAT not be fun. Israel vs Russia with a little Iran thrown in the middle.
Chimp and Condi are sitting back waiting for conflicts like this to explode so they can point the finger at, oh, maybe Russia or Iran or ANY other country that matter.

http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2008/08/05/africa/ME-Israel-Georgia.php

Israel has decided to halt all sales of military equipment to Georgia because of objections from Russia, which is locked in a feud with its smaller Caucasus neighbor, Israeli defense officials said Tuesday.

The officials said the freeze was partially intended to give Israel leverage with Moscow in its attempts to persuade Russia not to ship arms and equipment to Iran. They spoke on condition of anonymity as Israel does not officially publish details of its arms sales.

<snip>

Russia sent Israel a letter of protest after the shooting incident asking it to stop supplying military hardware to Georgia "as Russia from time to time complies with Israel's requests not to supply weapons systems" to states seen as threatening Israel, according to a report Tuesday in the Israeli daily Maariv.

In addition to the spy drones, Israel has also been supplying Georgia with infantry weapons and electronics for artillery systems, and has helped upgrade Soviet-designed Su-25 ground attack jets assembled in Georgia, according to Koba Liklikadze, an independent military expert based in Tbilisi. Former Israeli generals also serve as advisers to the Georgian military.

28. Correct, and no it isn't an accident. The pipeline through Georgia was finalized in 2002-2003...
I wonder what else was going on in 2002-2003. Let's see 02-03, 02-03, 02...03, I Remember!! The Cheney/Nixon's Ghost/Rove/bush/bfee/Halliburton/ENRON excursion into Iraq for the most bald-faced theft of a sovereign nations natural resources in the history of America! Yeah, that's it! The greatest game of 'watch the birdie' in recent memory while the Taliban was telling bush to shove *his* plans for oil exploitation where the sun don't shine. A Black Sea crude oil pipeline through volatile regions American BigOil had little or no control over. China cashing in their Sudanese oil chips, negative...

After pushing their nose into everyone's else's business without invitation; the Russians are not about to just stand there while the bush admin sticks it for the last time into their's by handing out meaningless NATO memberships & invitations to a country, however sovereign, through which their oil is known to flow. They're wrong and characteristically heavy handed put they're pissed and done with this bush guy; and they know bush has no leg whatsoever to stand on having burnt every bridge he ever crossed.

While it is as a practical matter brutal crying out for resolution: for g.w. bush to now declare Russia's entry into Georgia a great injustice upon on sovereign nation are some of the most hollow words the world will ever hear.

The worse of all possible downsides to having self centered, intellectually lazy children of old money running for offices requiring forward thinking.
