Students On The Edge Must Push Themselves
Here is a editorial that my friend wrote and I would like to share this with you DUers out there.

Senior skip day, senioritis, and the famous senior prank: all of these things are simple traditions that have been around for years. Yet, these high school customs are making it much easier for grades to slip and graduation for seniors to be questioned.

We often hear ‘I only need a D to pass!’ or ‘Just one more credit’, but wouldn’t it be so much easier and less stressful to finish strong?

There are many different ways to relieve stress in high school, and make sure you graduate with the rest of your class. Study halls, zero hour, junior/senior release, online courses, early graduation, and being prepared are all ways to get ahead. Yet, some do not take advantage of these things offered to them. Why not?

You can track how I'm doing in high school by going to my website. I will be posting daily blogs about my freshman year.

Asher Heimermann is a teenager from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. You can learn more information about Heimermann by visiting his official website at www.AsherHeimermann.com.

1. Hey Asher, I just want to tell you this...
DU'ers like yourself and Ava Lowery give us hope.
So young, yet so smart, and so kind and eager to help.
I was skeptical about you at first, but I got to admit your one to watch.
Your what we are all about.

"My name is Asher Heimermann from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I am 14 years of age and this is my fourth year involved in politics and government. I have submitted countless letters to political and government leaders as well as international leaders. I've been volunteering for this campaign since June 2007. In July 2008, I reached my fund raising goal of $3,000 for Senator Obama".

Congratulations son, you got it going on!

2. Thanks...
Thanks for your kind words. Some people think I'm the next Ava but I don't think thats right to say. Ava has done a lot more work then I have and there is not replacing that.
