PALO ALTO: NEWS CONFERENCE TO DISCUSS CLAIMS OF 'BIGFOOT' FIND
Three "Bigfoot'' seekers, including a Redwood City man who released a documentary titled "Bigfoot Lives,'' claim they may have the body of one and plan to release a photo and what they claim is DNA evidence at a news conference in Palo Alto on Friday.
Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, Georgia residents who lead Bigfoot-tracking expeditions, say they found the body of what appears to be a Bigfoot in the woods of northern Georgia and will join local Bigfoot researcher Tom Biscardi at the news conference, according to Robert Barrows, who is publicizing the event.
Barrows' name is known in San Mateo County, where he has made multiple bids as a Democratic primary candidate for the District 12 Congressional seat formerly occupied by the late U.S. Rep. Tom Lantos and now by Jackie Speier.
"I think you'll find that this is the real deal,'' Barrows said of the alleged discovery.

5. Good point. Maybe they'll do a double news conference. |

We could use a little levity in LBN these days.

I want more than a news conference with some "Bigfoot seekers" |
|
throwing around some "DNA evidence". I want full body radiographs and a postmortem exam performed by a university veterinary pathology team. With some wildlife biologists thrown in, too.

4. This should be interesting |

Photos don't mean squat. And I bet the DNA evidence are tests they (or a "third party" lab) ran and reports that they wrote. Why don't they give biologists/zoologists access to the "body"?

6. It there were any truth to this they would have shown the body |
|
immediately. If I catch a big fish, I don't wait a week to show it off.

8. Here's a photo of the "bigfoot" in question. |
|
Not very convincing in itself but I suppose we shall see. http://www.searchingforbigfoot.com/

9. Actually, it's a pretty good photo. |
|
But it's just a photo. Supposedly there are other living creatures still there, but he doesn't want to give out the location. BS alert on full, but we'll see.
