2. Yes, I did.
In response to the "ZOMG WHY WAZ ROVE ON VACATION IN CRIMEA" threads. Bob Shrum was there. So was Richard Haass. Along with a lot of other people. Here's the full attendee list:

I still don't understand what Rove's presence is supposed to prove. Condi was publicly meeting with Saakashvilli and making idiot bellicose statements in the same timeframe.

5. Yes. This was posted.
That is why I am arguing that the whole Georgian fiasco was a McCain campaign strategy.

I feel sorry for the Georgians and Ossetians who got caught in this. Certainly the President of Georgia was the primary victim of this stupid campaign ploy. This should be investigated to determine whether I am just imagining this or actually putting two and two together. Condi Rice was also at that conference. She obviously had nothing to do with whatever was said that made the President of Georgia think that this was the time to reclaim Ossetia (which declared its independence from Georgia and Russia way back in 1991-92). Condi Rice and the Secretary of Defense have handled this matter pretty intelligently, so I would guess they did not encourage Georgia to invade. Who could it have been other than Rove and McCain whose foreign policy adviser is in the pay of the Georgians. Promise the moon, collect the pay-off for "lobbying" and then deliver nothing. If that is how McCain plans to run his foreign policy, I see a big problem should he be elected.

8. It isn't beyond Condi
to say different things in public and private (although you're probably right).

I also noticed that the Georgian President was wearing a flag pin, a subtle tell-tale sign (to me at least) that he was operating out of the neocon playbook.

9. It's like Rove is pure evil and everything he touches turns to sludge.
