Health Care Events: August 23 - 28, 2008


Access to heath care needs to be a priority for all political parties
HCAC will be glad to report access to health care events at the conventions of all political parties. The 2008 Democratic National Convention, held in Denver, Colorado - August 25 - 28, 2008 will offer many opportunities to network with other people advocating for single-payer universal health care.

The Democratic National Convention Committee unveiled its website for the 2008 Democratic Convention in Denver. The website provides up-to-date information on the convention, which will be held from August 25-28, 2008.


Progressive Democrats of America - DNC Events webpage
The center of the PDA activities will be located in the heart of Denver at the Central Presbyterian Church, 1660 Sherman St., Denver, CO 80203. PDA national and PDA Colorado team led by Evi Klett and Elise Hudson have been working for the last two months on the events.
