1. It's the Second Coming: ALL of the Innocent Dead ARE Jesus.

and I'm not trying to be funny.

It's the story in the New Testament all over again. The Poor and disadvantaged being used for political fodder by the church and state.

2. We "won" the "war" in about 3 weeks
It's the "occupation" we're losing.

5. Actually, He's Right
The military isn't really that good at being a police force. No military has ever been very good at that.

They're job is to kick ass and take names, and they did that in 18 days. So, now McSame is suggesting that they "won", but we can't come home because that would be "losing", (not sure how one could win and lose at the same time) and wishes to continue a role for the military to which they're not suited or trained.

What a dunce.
The Professor

6. Outta Sight, Outta Mind...We Won
My counter to anyone who dare try that bullshit line on me is to ask when ALL the troops are coming home and where's the parade?

Remember, Gramps knows he has to create fantasyland for the wingnuts if he has any chance of them coming out to make this election competitive. He needs to feed the corporate media and hate radio beasts who prefer to cheerlead and pontificate. It's the simple black and white soundbites the GOOP loves to shovel to the "low information voters". Dare to challenge Gramps on this and he'll throw his POW at you!!

Cheers...

BTW...got a chance to watch Bill Moyers Journal last night. Andrew Bacevich was incredible...I hope others here get the chance to see and hear what he has to say.

:hi:
