Nothing against Rachel, but her radio show has been hit or miss since she took to MSNBC on a regular basis. Sometimes it's with guest host David Bender and others it's just them playing Race to the White House with David what's-his-nuts.

Rachel has gone to tv and that's great for her, but I think XM Left needs to give someone else a turn............

Maybe bring Sam Seder and Marc Maron back???

1. I like David Bender, though ... and he likes to take calls (unlike Rachel)

When there's a hot news story, I like it when he subs
because it allows listeners to express their views.
Maybe they can work out a co-hosting routine (with
her hosting the first portion of the 3-hour slot
and him taking over for the final hour, when she
goes on MSNBC, which I now realize is what's been
happening since she started doing both radio and
TV).

2. I doubt Rachel's radio show is going to last much longer in any capacity.
There's really no point, since she's rarely on it anymore. But yes, now that she will have her own hour on MSNBC, I doubt she will continue to be on the David Gregory corporate suckfest. I have no idea what AAR will do about the show, but if Rachel is gone or mostly gone from the radio, it would give XM the perfect opportunity to finally air the Thom Hartmann and Mike Malloy shows in total (even though Thom's show would still be delayed)

3. She has mentioned many times that she wants to keep the radio show
and do both. The RW hacks like Hannity and O'Lielly do.

4. the radio show has not been near 100% in a long time
it's like she does it when she wants or has time. Other people would kill for the opportunity to have a show.

5. When she's on Race for the White House or Countdown
Rachel either can't do her radio show, which airs from 6-8PM, or she gets in for the last hour. That's why David Bender fills in for her.

6. Hannity and O'Lielly do morning radio shows
So it never conflicts with their FAUX schedules.

I guess if Rachel could talk Thom Hartmann into swapping time slots, it might work. Don't know whether Thom would go for that though.
