The MSM calls this convention coverage? It's all talking heads all the time
I don't want to know how their "experts" interpret what's going on at the convention, I want to see the convention dammit. I should have known but we're barely a couple of hours into the Democratic National Convention and I'm already sick of the coverage I'm seeing.

3. WE know that C-SPAN is the way to go
However, there are millions out there who take the talking heads' tripe as gospel.

And then we wonder why people vote the way they do. :eyes:

4. Stream Hi Res at DemConvention.com It's great!
You have to DL and install the software, but it's quick

and then restart

It's cool you can operate the camera angle too

It's the official DNC streaming site

6. Watching C-span, no pundits
no one to try to tell me what to think or how the last speech will "hurt" Obama.

9. What about your neighbors ?
What are THEY hearing ? ... the Democrats or Chris Wallace ?

Us changing the channel to CSPAN isnt going to help THEM get the message ....

14. No.. I've been checking out alternate coverage..
and settled on CSPAN. I remember when Huntley/Brinkley/Cronkite did the conventions. I was just upset that what used to be "news bureaus" had now become nothing more that the National Enquirer of politics.

8. The point of these complaints is NOT necessarily about US being able to hear this ...
But what of the undecideds in the country ?

WHY are the media talking heads obscuring the convention message with their own ?

This is simply wrong .... We arent voting for Pundits ....

15. Exactly. Most of America won't watch on CSPAN
They're watching ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CNN, etc. The Low Information Voter is the new Silent Majority.

11. Damn ... Now I am not getting through ....
Still ? ... Do you honestly think it is more important that WE hear this ? ... or your reluctant neighbors ?

I would prefer the neighbors get this message ... I and you are already voting for Obama ....

12. I agree with you. I hope the local networks are better
At least they will allow the main speakers to talk, but it is quite frustrating
