AP intimidates DK diarist
From the big orange:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/8/26/13472/2103#496

This guy posted a diary about the AP' s bias against Democrats and the AP contacted him at work (somehow they got his place of employment and his phone number there), even though this had nothing to do with the diarist's job and was not done on company time.

Time to let the AP know we will not be cowed. Push back..

If anyone reads this from the ACLU of the EFF, please contact this guy- he needs backup.

1. WHAT THE FUCK!? Fuck yeah, call the ACLU.
You know if I were a conspiracy theorist, I would say that the MSM is the newest candidate for the hideout of the Illuminati. But seriously, that's just messed up.

3. Off to the Greatest Page for you
Every responsible journalist in America (yes, some still exist) should be scared shitless over this development.

Is the AP becoming a terrorist organization? Given their current leadership (Murdoch, Singleton, Zell) and D.C. bureau staffing (Fournier), that's not such a far-fetched statement.

4. And the AP is contacting others
Check the end of the diary- AP has "contacted" some one else, too. And you may find some contact names there.
Maybe it's time to let the AP know they have stepped into an ant hill, and contact them.

5. The AP are thugs who don't ever get consequences.
They need to be taken on in an organized way.

I finally registered over there but can't post for now.

Please keep us updated. :(

7. Have we not been discussing ratfucking?
AP's over-reaction suggests to me the nail was hit right on a big, ol' sensitive nerve called credibility.

AP: newsprint version of propaganda Fox News.

8. Yep. And most newsrooms are so stressed out, they rely on
Associated Pimps. There's no feedback loop at ALL.

6. You can't spell CRAP without AP.
What, is someone at AP reporting another 60-inch blow-by-blow?
