Clinton Speaks To Supporters: No Mention Of Obama
Hillary Clinton just wrapped up a private fundraising event for WomenCount.org, a group founded late in the primaries by a handful of major Clinton donors, and one that is shifting to become, according to one organizer, the "MoveOn.org of the women's movement."

Clinton's remarks reflected the extent of frustration and resentment over the presidential race among the few hundred gathered attendees, mostly women. Clinton didn't mention either Barack Obama or Joe Biden by name during the roughly 10-minute speech -- she referred once to "the nominees."

And the New York Senator's unity argument seemed to be aimed specifically at supporters who were considering abandoning the Democratic ticket and backing John McCain.

"I believe that with all my heart that the Democratic Party represents a much better future for everything we believe in and care about," she said, "and I will be making a very strong case tonight that we stand behind our nominees in order for us to keep pushing progress forward. We cannot be deterred, we cannot be diverted."

4. It's classic passive-aggressive behavior
push-pull..always with the victim routine..

I hope this teaches us all a lesson, and things change next time..

No more "running on credit".. It you cannot raise REAL cash or are not willing to use your own, YOU ARE DONE..no more primariaes no more ads..

ALL vendors/suppliers must be paid before the end of the reporting month..

Vanity runs or grudge runs are no longer "cute"...or "ground-breaking"..

No more super delegates.. we must know as it goes along, just where everyone stands..no more secret votes waiting to be cast, after the people have voted..

When it's mathematically OVER..you are DONE.. Mayne the DNC should hire non-partisan mathematicians to "help"..

She ran the last half of the primary season KNOWING she could not win.. she ran it out of spite, claiming to be doing it "for the women".. she did it for HERSELF and to stick a finger in Obama's eye..to punish him for daring to disrupt HER election..

5. Are we angry that she said "our nominees"
in her speech instead of saying Barack Obama and Joe Biden? This anti-Clinton crap is most definitely going to lose us an election. It is such a distraction and it looks like they can not do anything right to some people. This crap about how this is no longer the Clinton's Party and how it is now Obama's Party and they should just accept that pisses me off. Before the primaries I hardly ever saw a harsh word about the Clinton's on DU.

8. They were all criticizing each other
and I have heard of other Dems praising McCain and they never get the scrutiny and disdain that she does. It is just starting to look really bad for the Dems. On the other hand, this division is working out perfectly for the Repukes. Everyone seems to have forgotten all about the good things and the public service that has been provided to the Dems by the Clinton's. This Party does not belong to just Obama. We are supposed to be a "big tent" Party but to me it looks like everyone who is an ardent supporter of Obama does not think the Clinton's belong in the tent any more.

9. The Clintons need to speak up and support our nominee
They are the ones creating the division.

10. The media is creating the division in my opinion.
She has been campaigning for and raising money for Obama since she quit the race. Does the media ever show her at one of the events she has done over the past two months? Nope. She has done everything Obama has asked of her since she dropped out. The blind hatred towards the Clinton's will be our demise. United we stand, divided we fall. The Clinton's are important to the Democratic Party. She will give one hell of a speech tonight and then maybe everyone will shut up about it. She is going to beat the crap out of John McCain tonight when she speaks. Maybe we should all get a little angry at how she is being used by the McCain campaign.

11. They have already announced her speech will be about HER
She will NOT be beating the crap out of McCain.

As far as the media, she had a perfect opportunity today to speak out in support of Obama and refer to him and Biden by name instead of as the "nominees". But she chose not to.

Sorry I do not trust her at all. She has given minimal lip service to Obama. She has allowed these PUMA idiots to continue to speak out and she has done nothing to stop them. Many many failed opportunities to really unify the party. All ignored by Hillary.
