Edited on Wed Aug-27-08 03:00 PM by Ichingcarpenter
I forgot the names but you know the Florida story of the 30 day missing daughter

The MSNBC only talked 30 seconds on it believe it or not.

updated for evidence.

2. No, not the BODY ... just forensic evidence of a decomposing body
Is it Casey's? They still have to find the body and
then link it to the mother's wrongdoing. It sounds
like a a good circumstantial case but until they find
the body I don't know where this goes ...

6. Yes, I read something about the mother wanting gasoline cans and not letting anyone
get anything from her trunk.

7. Yes, you are correct that was the headline I saw
Its a local tragedy, we have kids that are missing in our small city
and they never touch those stories.

9. Are you sure about this
I checked the news on several sites......... did see it anywhere. Just that they found out that mom had been dating a police officer who got fired for lying about it.

I did see an article referring to a mother being found in her trunk.

10. It reminds me of the Susan Smith story.

"Susan Smith of Union, South Carolina was convicted July 22, 1995, of murdering her two sons, 3-year-old Michael Daniel Smith, born October 10, 1991, and 14-month-old Alexander Tyler Smith, born August 5, 1993, and later sentenced to life in prison. The case gained worldwide attention shortly after it developed."

"Smith initially reported to police, on October 25, 1994, that she had been carjacked by a black man who drove away with her sons still in the car. Smith made tearful pleas on television for the rescue and return of her children"

She had drowned her children by driving her car into a lake with her children trapped in the car.

Scary.

11. I think it was something about hair.
They were examining a strand of the girl's hair found in the trunk to see if it was from a dead body or had been naturally shed while the girl was still alive and was just transferred there on something else.
