Racist anti-Obama filth sold at GOP booth at Washington fair: TRUE GOP COLORS on display
Note, also, that the Republican Party chairwoman only apologized to anyone "upset or offended by seeing it"....hardly a denouncement of the actual racist trash item being sold.

======

MONROE -- Snohomish County Republicans on Tuesday stopped selling phony $3 bills at their Evergreen State Fair booth bearing a picture of Barack Obama wearing an Arab headdress.

In addition to the image of Sen. Obama, the likely Democratic nominee for president, the "Obamanation Note" design includes a silhouette figure of a camel, identifies Obama as "Da Man" and is signed by "Teddy Kennedy, Chief Socialism Advisor," and "Al Sharpton, New Spiritual Advisor." The serial number, "IBD14UOK" when read aloud, is fractured English: "I be de one for you, OK."

Snohomish County Republican Party chairwoman Geri Modrell said when she first learned of the item's existence Tuesday afternoon, she called volunteers in the booth to have it removed but someone already had done so.

"It wasn't approved by the board and it wasn't approved by me and it shouldn't have been there," Modrell said. "I want to apologize to anyone upset or offended by seeing it."

Here it is, in all its racist, Republican "glory":

4. "I don't have any idea what you're talking about," he said. "I think you've got the wrong guy."
And COWARDS. All of a sudden nobody knew who started selling their little "joke" bills.

2. Why are you posting it on here?
You are just giving them the press by doing that.

3. Because they SHOULD have the press. America should see what the GOP includes.

5. This is the second thread on this I've seen, and neither...
bothered to notice that that those nasty Republicans in charge actually THREW AWAY this stuff.

C'mon, fair is fair-- someone came up with the joke and the adults over there did the right thing.

(Unlike some people here who keep it alive.)

6. Bullshit. The state party chair "did not criticize Snohomish County Republicans for (selling them)"
"Some people here" :eyes:

9. So? He didn't approve of them either. Get over it-- there's...
gonna be a lot more of this sort of thing on both sides.

(I'm shocked, SHOCKED that there's insulting literature in a politcal campaign!)

7. The nasty Republicans in charge created the climate where it's allowed
The fact it was there to begin with is deeply sad.

11. I don't care ... the GOP is run by sociopaths now
I'll worry about Democratic souls later after we crush the Republicans.

13. Do we, really?
During the 2004 RNC, purple heart band-aid were everywhere, insulting VETS. They wore them anyway, no matter how ironic it was considering their candidate shirked his duties in the national guard. I don't remember us doing anything so crass that made fun of bush.

This time three dollar bills with Obama in Arab headdress, supporting a LIE they have been trying to forward all along. Is something like that being passed around the Dem convention against McCain? If so, I haven't heard any Repub screeching about it, yet.

If someone hadn't complained, those stupid three dollar bills would be getting lots of play on MSM, as they were passed around the RNC. I think it is worth noting what the R's are up to and just how low they can go. Ignoring them is not like ignoring a child having a tantrum. Ignoring them just makes them stronger.

12. We should be selling copies of the McCain anti-American videos
he made for the North Vietnamese. When the bastard screams that he was tortured, then it's time to remind him how he recently voted against the anti-torture legislation! God damn, it's time to play fire with fire!
