"You don't know because you weren't there" |
|
This is an example of the jokes being told about McCain where I live (on an army post)
McCain goes up to a hooker and says "I was a POW" - so the hooker gives McCain a blow-job.
Quickly done, the hooker then asks, "How was it?" - and McCain says, "You don't know because you weren't there!"
Yeah..it's crude...but it's also filled with contempt and mocking for McCain.

"How many Vietnam Vets does it take to screw in a lightbulb?"
-- I dunno
(Yelling) "That's because you weren't there!"

4. It's a running joke theme within the military...the "you weren't there" |
|
so this joke was only a matter of time in the coming
usually self-mocking, this time scorn was heaped on McCain and his one note excuse
