I don't think there's a favorite (D) issue or cause he's not opposed. When he bothered to show up for work, that is. His attendance record wouldn't help him much - what is it, like 50%? Us non-elites get fired over that kind of shit AND lose our benefits.

Oh, and the triple-dip Senate/Navy disability/Social Security tied to his free and unlimited health care perks aren't going to help him with most Americans.
