1. The amount of "no stance yet recorded" is pretty telling.
I'd add to her environmental stance that she supported the aerial culling of timber wolves.

5. She does take a stance on global warming.... not man-made
In an interview released today by Newsmax, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) — Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) newly minted running mate — was asked for her “take on global warming and how is it affecting our country.” “A changing environment will affect Alaska more than any other state, because of our location,” Palin said, adding, “I’m not one though who would attribute it to being man-made.” DeSmogBlog notes that NASA and the National Academy of Sciences disagree:

The first greenhouse gas demonstrated to be increasing in atmospheric concentration was carbon dioxide, formed as a major end product in the extraction of energy from the burning of the fossil fuels–coal, oil, and natural gas–as well as in the burning of biomass.

UpdateDan Weiss and James Kvaal note that Palin is a "champion for Big Oil." They write, "She supports more drilling in protected areas of the Outer Continental Shelf and the Alaska Natural Wildlife Refuge, once attacking McCain for his 'close-mindedness on ANWR.'"

8. A few other things
MSM is attempting to ask "Can Palin bring in Clinton supporters?" Bullshit. This man sent in a video on CNN saying, "Shame on you, John McCain, for thinking that America is stupid; that one woman is equal to another woman." Most Clinton supporters are pro-choice, Palin is pro-life. And I don't really think Clinton supporters would say, "Hmm. While Obama supports many of the issues that Hillary does, and I agree with his platform, Palin is a WOMAN. And I'M a WOMAN. I'm going to vote for her. Who cares that she doesn't stand for anything that I do!"
Plus talk about inexperience...
I really think McCain had nobody else. This whole thing is a ploy. He is transparent.
