Apparently she went in to labor a MONTH early while attending an Energy conference in Texas. Her water broke, but she STAYED to finish her speech before leaving. Furthermore she was determined NOT to have the baby in Texas, so she traveled back to Alaska. For someone that's so concerned about putting an end to women's rights, even when it would save the mother's life or rape - I find it interesting that she would risk the life of her child in such a selfish manner. I mean, she knew she was having a downs baby - so surely the drs would have educated her about the risks of heart problems and other complications.

Why would someone in premature labor & PROM choose to finish a speech, then travel cross country once your water has already broken, while carrying a child pre-diagnosed with Down Syndrome?

If you're Dad's a murdering jerk we don't kill you. The people who claim to believe life begins at conception but then think abortion is okay in cases of rape are just not being consistent. They just can't admit that abortion and questions about when life begins are very complicated - not simply a case of black or white.

People who don't think abortion should be allowed even in cases of rape are scary because while consistent, they are insensitive. Rather than not realizing how complicated an issue abortion is, they are convinced it is a matter of black or white. They are certain to the extent of being closed minded.

After 8 years of Bush/Cheney, the last thing we need is another president and vice president who are so inflexible, unyielding and closed-minded.

I'd like to see her asked about the abortion is wrong even in the case of rape, I think she will say something to the effect of "rape victims were asking for it... the WHORES!"..... and if we can get that answer we can literally crush any hope McCain had.

Another issue is this just reinforces McCain’s Card Carrying Conservative statues. I mean he has chosen a young earth bible literalist and a rabid anti-choice nut, who actually is quoted as hating Hillary and supporting the bridge to no where.
