I always bitch at work when they send me to San Francisco so they don't realize what a treat it is.

When they send me to your neck of the woods, I go out early Sunday morning, and just walk and walk and walk. What a wonderful city. And I have VERY happy memories of driving the PCH south through Half Moon Bay and down to Big Sur, and also of driving out o wine country. What an amazing place to live.

You should come out her if you get a chance. What's not to like about being 2 hours from NY, 3 hours from DC, 1 3/4 from the beach, and 1 hour from the mountains.

I love the east coast. I love the west coast. Driving cross-country was an eye-opening experience - Mr. catnapper and I had such a great time.
