Will Palin step down after the election and McCain can then
appoint at his whim who he wants as VP?

1. That question assumes that McCain will win
Not after he hoisted the white flag like he did today.

3. Palin may not even make it to the the convention on Monday
She'll opt out; McCain will get credit for trying to pick a female VP, and then he'll pick his real VP; Mitt Romney.

5. It's possible he's already thrown the election away . . .
because she's so manifestly unfit for the job. But backing away from the decision would guarantee his loss.

Ain't gonna happen.

4. No, after the election, she'll return to the Governor's Igloo . . .
in Juneau, and start figuring out how to work with new senator Begich after Ted Stevens loses and is hauled off to the pokey.

6. I think the plan is opposite: The corpora-terrorists will force McCain...
to resign due to 'illness,' to get a real Nazi at the helm.
And, make no mistake about it: Palin is on the extreme right of Bush. That's the only way the GOP/corpora-terrorists can continue to coverup the environmental/war crimes of the last eight years: The GOP is building toward their third coup d'etat (as they know the Democrats will surrender, *again*).

7. No, The Dobson right will force McCain to step down
and she will be running the country.
