From Wasilla to the White House?

snip...
Despite her growing public profile, Mrs Palin's readiness for the challenge of campaigning on the national stage remains in question, even for Alaskans.

"As governor, Palin seemed to speak more in generalities when it came to questions of policy," said Mr Simon.

"She usually deferred a lot of the policy questions to her staff - she still does that today."

1. I got that feeling reading some of her opinions earlier today
All very general...fluff even. Her comments on Iraq (what little there have been) have been little more than a Bush cheerleader

2. her 'speech' was
not written by her, of that I'm sure. I mentioned this before, but did anyone notice mcsame looking down at her speech, during the entire 'speech'? when there was audience response, he would look up and smirk and give one clap--

laurel and hardy go to washington.

5. She's a nutter
I've spent a lot of the day researching her policy record and she's slightly to the right of Attila the Hun. She's Dick Cheney minus the compassion, Jesse Helms with boobs. Seriously, she's a fire-breathing, fundementalist lunatic. OK, she's working that whole MILF look but what's inside is terrifying. Palin is Ann Coulter with actual power and if that doesn't scare the shit out of you, you're Captain America.

10. Yep.
That and maybe she will actually go on one of the Sunday shows so we can see how she reacts to some direct questions.

Hopefully, they will ask her direct questions.
