Phyllis Schlafly loves Sarah Palin
Schlafly

“Sarah Palin is an outstanding governor, an exemplar of all that is good and true,”

“She is a major leader in the pro-life movement and that is main reason we chose her as our keynote speaker for our ‘Life of the Party’ party at this year’s GOP convention.”

I've long thought Phyllis Schlafly would greatly benefit from loving somebody...I don't think she even loves herself.

2. Then why is she abandoning her family, Phyllis?
What if one of them decides to go gay, and her strong presence in a loving household could have stopped it? What kind of "woman" would leave her family and her infant daughter to go haring off after her own career? Where, oh where, are the concerned women of America to speak out on this???

4. You know their answer to that. They can do it...it's those other women that shouldn't
The exact same hypocrisy they have been using for years....they preach the good wifey from high powered positions

11. Phyllis Schlafly is one of my least favorite women
in the universe. :puke:

She'd have all women at home, barefoot and pregnant if she had her backwards way.

21. Leaving the city you ran 20 million dollars in debt: All that is good and true!
Between this and the Dobson endorsement, does it strike anyone else that at this late stage the GOP is just now shoring up the scary fundie vote?

I smell disarray.

22. Newt Gingrich was promoting her long before now
I think she is to bring the right wing fundies forward full charge....but I get the feeling there's a long term agenda as well

Could be as simple as a desperate choice....but why launch a relative unknown religious right wing darling onto the national stage just to lose? And I think McCain will lose.

McCain picked the person other people wanted...those other people being some well known power players within the party...and Newt never really went away....he's been in the wings..biding his time. Him along with the rest of the restore a reaganesque type to the whitehouse crowd....rabid ne-cons wedded to the religious right.

They ain't dead until you see thecorpse..and while I don't think Obama will lose to McCain....Palin could be part of a larger picture for the right.
