Sarah Palin is MISSING !
Edited on Sat Aug-30-08 08:54 AM by SoCalDem
Gov Palin's past has been "poofed"...

With precious few days in this election, they have virtually scrubbed everything pertinent from the official website..

click almost any link and you'll see.. (March & earlier)

4. done that..no dice.. a few I have tracked down by
googling the organizatuion mentioned in the properties and using THEIR archives.. If they did not use the AK photo, there are a few still around..

I saved a bunch the other day..but this is ridiculous,.. she is a PUBLIC figure, and records of her official duties are not her personal property, to delete if it's embarrassing..

6. You should not have to be a damned detective
to find pictures on the state's official website..or to refer to the official record of the governor.. especially since she's seeking higher office..

Try turning in blank sheets of paper instead of a resume, when you apply for a job..

10. Sarah Palin is MISSING!.. (e-mail I sent to the newspaper)
Are you aware that Sarah Palin is MISSING...from the internet and from the official government websites..

As soon as web-savvy types started searching for pictures of her during her "pregnancy" (which coincided with her teenager's "mono"), everything was scrubbed...

use this link..go to March, and try clicking links..

It seems to me that the people of Alaska PAID her salary and paid for the running of the government, and it;s pretty cheeky of her and her newfound henchmen to just delete anything that might be embarrassing to her..
http://gov.state.ak.us/archive.php?type=2&start=0&total=10000

Her "baby" story stinks worse than a dead salmon in July, and we should be able to research someone who is now on the national stage..

might want to look into Secretive-Sarah's antics..

btw.. she used her baby son's name to "clean up" her wikipedia entry too..

she's a pip!

28. "Her baby story stinks worse than a dead salmon in July"
You've got that right. And it dawned on me last night that any pictures taken after she announced her pregnancy are suspect because at that point she could have started to wear some padding. So who knows.

But I'm a veteran of one pregnancy, and the morning my water broke my doctor's instructions were to get myself to the hospital ASAP. No physician caring for a 44-year-old mother experiencing the leaking of amniotic fluid a month before her due date would give the go-ahead to make a public speech and then climb aboard an 11 hour flight - oh, and not bother to inform the flight crew of her situation. If that's what, indeed, happened, the doctor should be investigated by the state medical board and Palin should have a psychiatric evaluation.

Can you imagine if this was a Democrat. The media whores would be having a field day.

Wasn't she responsible for having her brother-in-law sacked?

I don't know the details, but I think I heard that her BIL was a state trooper and she had him sacked after he divorced her sister.

BP gave her husband a parttime job, paying 120K a year, and gives him all the time off he needs for "playtime" with his doggies and his "snow-machines" (her words yesterday), and of course to be house-dad/homeschooler..when he's not being a "commercial fisherman"..

Go for it.

On edit. "her plan for a natural gas pipeline that could one day be the most expensive construction project in North America"

This must be the same pipeline that Ted Stevens implicated Cheney in his pay-to-play scandal!

WOW. This VP choice is going to really implode with corruption and Corrupt Bastard connections.

40. Palin has a complicated relationship with the oil companies
I started looking last night into a front group called "Alaska's Future," which SourceWatch says was set up in 2005 by ExxonMobil, BP, and ConocoPhillips "to promote a natural gas pipeline deal." (http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Alaska%27s_Future)

But when I tried to find out whether there was any link to Palin, I found that the situation was far more complex than that. The situation described in the Newsweek article quoted below is clearly significant -- Palin's stand against the oil companies on the pipeline issue is the basis for McCain's being able to paint her as a fellow-maverick. But I don't know enough to tell exactly what is going on here or whose interests Palin is really serving.

(But if nothing else, the fact that the article compares Palin to Hugo Chavez, and ends by calling her a "populist" of whom "Hugu Chavez would be proud" is a considerable hoot in itself.)

http://www.newsweek.com/id/139335/output/print

Jun 2, 2008

Alaskans are pinning their hopes on a 30-year-old dream to tap the state's massive natural-gas fields, the largest in the nation, and ship the gas down a multi-billion-dollar pipeline to produce heat and electricity in the lower 48 states. Supporters say it would be the largest private-energy project in U.S. history, one that would draw thousands of welders, pipe fitters and other workers northward, much like when the trans-Alaska oil pipeline was constructed in the 1970s. ...

Beginning this week, the Alaska State Legislature will debate how to usher in a natural-gas boom. Two pipeline proposals are on the table. One hails from a Canadian pipeline builder and is endorsed by Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, a Republican who has drawn surprising comparisons with Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez for her tough stance against Big Oil. The other proposal comes from BP and ConocoPhillips, two oil behemoths that hold leases on much of the state's natural gas. ...

At the same time, BP and ConocoPhillips recently announced that they are embarking on their own $30 billion project to pump Alaska's gas reserves through a 2,000-mile-long pipeline. They say they don't need the state's $500 million and will proceed regardless if the state throws its support behind TransCanada.

The TransCanada proposal is born out of an attempt by Palin to force the hand of the big oil companies—BP, ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobil Corp.—to execute their gas leases, from which the state hopes to raise tens of billions in tax revenue. Uncertainties over natural-gas prices and state taxes have long left the companies skittish about committing to a project.

U.S. Rep. Don Young was fighting for his political life early Wednesday, running neck-and-neck with Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell in a race too close to call.

With 83 percent of precincts reporting in the Republican U.S. House primary at 1:30 a.m., Parnell was leading but less than one half of one percentage point separated the two candidates. The difference was just 263 votes, with Parnell up 41,613 to 41,350.

"We're on the edge of our seat like everybody else," said Mike Anderson, Young's chief of staff who was working on the campaign and analyzing the returns Tuesday night.
