Sarah Palin is a pawn.... |
|
and she is too dumb to realize it. Her acceptance of the VP slot angers me on so many levels, but mainly because she can/will have a negative effect on women seeking higher office. She will be seen for the empty pantsuit that she is and that will be all the ammunition needed to discredit future qualified contenders. She has to know that she is nowhere near qualified for this position. She is obviously the type of person that lets her ego guide her. Most of us laughed out loud when we heard who he chose, but now I see that the media is legitimizing her. WTF. She needs and deserves to be laughed at. Perception is everything. It is up to us to expose her for the pawn that she is.

1. I think she knows she is a pawn. But look how |
|
it will look on her resume. After this she can really say she is in politics.

2. i so agree. and the insult goes further. repug males are using their women to cry sexism |
|
whenever the dems say anything about this woman trying to outrage female to at least not go out and vote for dem, if not to vote repug.
i am soooo disgusted, these pig white males are working at doing more damage to females gains than i have seen in years. this action can really really do us harm if women allow themselves to be manipulated adn sucked in

3. I'm sure that she knows she's a pawn... |
|
she just doesn't care. Hell, I'm not qualified to be VP, but if someone asked me I think I'd take the job. I bet they'd give me a nice office and make me some nice sandwiches.

I have no respect for someone that lets their ego trump their common sense.

5. i doubt if she'll be a candidate through the whole election |
|
i think she's just rove's red herring to steal the news cycle from obama.
she'll step down to "care for her family" or some such.
and it'll be romney
actually, they've managed to disgust repug men and most women, except for fundie whackjobs. maybe they think there are enough female fundies to make up the election. i hope not...

6. I had the same thought. |

Her child becomes her out, so after Obama's bounce has been managed with the 'Girl Next Door' and Fundies have rallied to the convention to fill the seats, McSame will have to pull out a replacement.

She won't be around for long as McSame's running mate.
Recognize it for what it is: Shameless pandering.

9. "Affirmative Action" GOOP Style |
|
From the bio I've seen on this lady, she's had a lot of breaks in her life that most have never enjoyed. She was a "beauty queen" and sports star...and it seems that the only qualifications she has is, as Debbie Wassserman-Schultz said the other day is "body parts". If she was heavy or had a "pizza face", do you think she'd be where she is? I don't see anything in her background that even qualifies her to be a Governor...other than body parts.
I don't think we need to expose what many already see. If anything, and others are pointing out, this is what the GOOP wants. They'd love for us to focus away from Gramps (and his poor judgement in making this pick) and go after her...trying to make her into a victim, and I suspect she's played that card in the past.

11. And in Chess, pawns are often sacrificed for position... |
|
If she makes it to November, with all the scandals swirling around her, I'll be very surprised.
My guess is that she'll withdraw over the she's-really-the-grandma scandal and the media will blame Democrats. Classic Rove.

12. She's used to it. She's been a pawn for her husband. |
|
Read some of the posts here about the scandals she's involved in. Her husband is always at the heart of it.
