My thoughts on Palin
I am more determined now than ever after Barack's incredible speech the other night and then, after the irresponsible pick made by John McCain yesterday. Oh my God. I was stunned. The more I read about this woman, the more fear I have knowing that she would be VP behind a 72 year old man who had several bouts with cancer. She is vehemently pro life, so much so that she is against abortion in cases of rape and incest. She comes from a fundamentalist church, Assemblies of God and she is very immature. I read an article last night where she was interviewed on a talk show and laughed hysterically when a right wing commentator made fun of a cancer survivor who was her rival in an election and who was overweight. I was floored. She is very immature and a disgrace to intelligent women everywhere. What a slap in the face! I cannot for the life of me imagine her dealing with Putin or Ahmedinejad. And with McCain's age and health, that is a real possibility. The mayor of any large city in the lower 48 has more executive experience than her! I've been to Alaska. It is a large state with a population of just over 600,000 which works out to .96 people per square mile! http://www.npg.org/states/ak.html She is under investigation for corruption currently, she squandered the treasury of Wassilia when she was mayor to build a large hockey arena, and this woman who touts being the head of the PTA gives her the experience to deal with Israel and Palestine is frankly beyond frightening. McCain's pick is an INSULT and shows an incredible lack of judgment that has no rival in our history.

People...get out there and work!!! The American electorate are not that sophisticated. (and I'm being kind) We could very possibly end up with President Sarah Palin if we don't make sure that Obama/Biden wins this election!!!!!!!!!
