Better stock up on Tabasco.

For the true TABASCO® lover, it just doesn't get any better than our Gallon Jugs of TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauces. You name the flavor! For those who use it on everything from eggs, salads, soups, chicken and burgers, to pizza, sandwiches, sides, rice and beans, they'll always have enough to go around.

So far, looks like Gustav is headed straight for Avery Island.
That's where the Tabasco plant is.
It's all lowland and swamp around there, so if there's a bad storm surge they're sure to get flooding.

They're just very different. :D

I've been to Avery Island -- wouldn't want to be there during a big hurricane!

8. I got Cholula too.
Matter of fact, there are probably 2 dozen different hot sauces in the fridge and pantry right now.
Cholula is a DIFFERENT tasting sauce from Tabasco.
But not >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

Try Dave's Insanity sometime.
I'm too damn old to be able to handle it now, but back in the day...
HOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! SMOKIN'!!!!!!!!!!

11. My prediction:
IF it continues on present track...
Hits the LA 'coast' (it's so damn low and wet and swampy I don't know if you could call it a 'coast') southwest of Houma and follows the swampy 'coastline' up to just south of Lafayette, where it gets it's first bite of solid ground.

And I'm in the land of Tapatios (Guadalajara), so I'm sort of in a weird heaven. A lovely place that gives me massive heartburn.

26. Tabasco's new Chipotle flavor...
is the nectar of the gods.

I don't use it on ice cream, but that's my only exception.

Better than teenage sex!

May the gods of flavor protect Avery Island.
