Could Repug vetting of a VP nominee really be THAT bad?
Is there something else going on here? Are they trying to throw the election? (In case of say, a catastrophic economic collapse). :tinfoilhat:

1. Who was responsible for the vetting?
I'd sure like to see some names.

4. McCain needed something drastic to stomp Obama's convention momentum.
So he decided to cross his fingers and roll the dice.

6. Several problems developed at the last minute, and nixed McCains pick.
The problems that developed were McCain's mouth!
That problem combined with the deadline problem.
You see, the convention has to nominate the VP!!

So, McCain picked Romney, and Romney agreed.
First McCain has his $5 million (senior) moment.
Then McCain has his seven houses (senior) moment.
And the pundits and Dems have a fielday.

So,McCain can no longer offer a guy with more money and more houses for VP!
Polling indicates they will only get mega stupid and the mega millionaire votes

McCain promised an announcement on Friday.
On about Wed. they had an "Ah, shit" moment.

Oh yeah, and because a bunch more indictments are coming out,
McCain needed a way to say he is one of the Alaska reformers!
