6. This town in $20million in debt because of Palin's "executive experience"
thats about $2500 per Wassilan.
This tiny town built -- get this -- a sports complex. What were they thinking!?!!
Palin screwed up the land purchase. She sneakily tried to use eminent domain to get the land rather than pay the asking price. Unsurprisingly, the town lost a big lawsuit... judgment was millions of dollars against the town. This town is sprawling... couldn't they have built the complex somewhere else? I can't imagine the property values are very high, a little outside of downtown.

Well, whatever the reason, the next thing that happened was that Palin abandoned their little town and went to the big city.

I'd be holding quite a grudge if I were them.
