Palin: Iraq is a task ‘from God.’»

Huffington Post reports that on June 8, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) addressed the graduating class of commission students at the Wasilla Assembly of God church. During that address, Palin portrayed the Iraq was as a quest decreed by God, and said that U.S. soldiers were carrying out “God’s plan”:

Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending out on a task that is from God. That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God’s plan.

During that speech, Palin also promoted a $30-billion natural gas pipeline project, stating, “God’s will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built.”

Theocrat yes, loonball yes, but these loonballs have made big progress and are looking to make more. They want Armageddon, they think the reward they are really due for all of their cognitive dissonance and ass kissing will only finally come to fruition once the rest of us are gone. No wonder they are emphasizing her survival skills, they probably think she will lead the worthy through the wilderness that this world will become if they get their way.

Of course this is crap, but try to tell that to someone who has invested his or her whole life in this fantasy. The best we can do is get and keep them out of power. But first everyone has to wake up to the threat that this really is.
