Poll question: How Do You Feel About Biden Eating Her A New Asshole In The Debates Now? |
|
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 07:03 AM by ThomWV
Just a few days ago there was a discussion about how easy Biden should go on Palin when the time comes for the VP debate. Generally the responses indicated that Biden should be firm but a Gentleman so as not to offend swing voters or something like that.
After seeing and hearing her speak - getting to know her as they say - how do you think Joe Biden should treat her now?

1. Biden can simply answer the questions and seem like a bully. |
|
Might as well choke her out.

2. "You want to go to war, I'll TAKE you to war." |
|
This should be Biden's attitude. NO quarter.

:woohoo:
After all the thinly veiled racist remarks about Obama, Biden doesn't have to worry about making her cry because she's a woman. He can always accuse her of using her "gender card".

5. I'd like to see them both be civil and have a lively discussion of their differences |

That would be a breath of fresh air.

Remember that debate in New York State when Hillary Clinton was debating Rick Lazio for the Senate seat in 2000. Lazio was seen as bullying Hillary during the debate. That can't happen with Palin. Go after her, but be gentlemanly about it. This is a nationwide opportunity to show Palin's obvious unfitness for national office. Biden obviously has a huge, commanding grasp of the issues. This debate can be very good for us, handled correctly. I trust Biden in doing this...he's done this before.

give someone enough rope and they will hang themself seems to fit here. I think if Joe goes after with anger, it will bring out sympathy for her from others. Let her show her anger and play it by ear. She will have a lot of dead air to fill when she can't be in the same ballpark as Joe in the knowledge of the issues. Make her look like the nasal voiced, holier-than-thou,callous fundie bitch that she is. You are in a whole new game now Sarah.
