Grandpa Pearface and Stephanie McMahon, the WWE Character.

Seriously. Are you shittin' me?

Is this a presidential campaign or a bad movie/Mad TV skit?

"Country First"?

Both of you idiots are in favor of increasing the National Debt to 11 trillion dollars and beyond. McCain sided with the votes supported by Bewsh 89% of the time since he took office (100% of the time this year). Palin indebted a city of 7,000 to the tune of $22 million dollars. Both of the candidates have foreign policies that consists of "bomb first, ask questions later". Both are in favor of putting Big Oil before country. Both want to keep Bewsh's tax cuts permanent, which would cripple the middle class even more than they are now. How the hell does that help the country, pray tell?

Does anyone REALLY think the majority of the American people will accept, much less want this ticket?

I don't know about the rest of you Americans, but I'm for reversing the policies of a tyrant who, along with the wealthy and the corporations he glad handed for 8 years, held us under his boot, stifled us economically and indebted this country beyond it's ability to become solvent.

I'm for ending the Failure Fuhrer's two useless occupations, which have already cost multiple thousands of Iraqi lives, destroyed their infrastructure, polluted their groundwater with radiation and has rung up a death toll of close to 4300 American soldiers. That's not counting the other multiple thousands of soldiers and citizens disfigured and maimed in these tax-dollar wasting conflicts. Never mind the non-formed fetuses, who's going to care about the children, women and soldiers?

I'm for ending "Trickle On" economics. Incidentally, I would like to hear from McCane supporters HOW exactly, if Supply-Side, "Kick the Can", Borrow-and-Waste "economics" has not worked for 89% of the population in the past 28 years, is it magically going to work NOW under a man with so little knowledge about economics in general? You'd almost conclude he'll put that piece of the pie on auto-pilot while the Carly Fiorinas and Meg Whitmans on his staff will handle it, GOD help us all.

I'm for reducing wealth inequality between classes.

I'm for an economy that can employ ALL of us and WORKS for all of us, not just the heavily degreed and privileged. What do you tell the people who aren't meant to go to college, who are great with their hands; their creativity, their ideas? "Sorry, get smarter in your next life"?? What do you tell the small businessperson who's under-capitalized and overtaxed? "Be born richer"? "Get a bigger trust fund"??

I'm for keeping your cross and Bible OUT of MY government, damn it.

Eisenhower conservatives do not exist anymore; nowadays, they're now called "moderates".

With the choice of Sarah McMahon Palin, it's beyond question that the Republican Party has been taken over by neo-conservative proto-fascist, fearmongering, batshit insane war-loving hyper-capitalists.

I would like to think that after 8 years of blatantly obvious ruination of this country by Republican policies with a dry drunk frat boy at the helm that can't even form a coherent sentence, all of the soldiers and Iraqi people getting killed in droves while oil and contracting conglomerates profit hand over fist, the housing collapse, the massive amounts of job lost (7, soon to be 8 straight MONTHS of job losses this year), wealth inequality that rivals that of the Gilded Age, rampant inflation, scandal after scandal after scandal that Americans would finally wake up and see that this simply IS NOT WORKING.

Taking orders and hoping for the best has been nothing but one fat epic FAIL for 95% of America for the past 45 or so years (especially in the last 28). That way FAILED us. Unbridled corporatism FAILED us. Freidman Economics FAILED us. Market-driven solutions to solve all of our problems, most notably the awful health care system we're currently screwed with, FAILED us. Rampant pro-profit and continuous militarism (regardless of its lack of need) FAILED us. Free Trade FAILED us. Not being benevolent and only caring about ME ME ME FAILED us. Fearmongering FAILED us. Having faith that the wealthy and the politicians can be trusted to repair what they broke . . . over and over and over again . . . FAILS us.

And yet, looking at these polls; while Barack Obama has hit 50%, he's still holding on to a mere 6 point lead.

Absolutely Amazing and Astounding.

I mean, how many inches deeper does the telephone pole have to go before Americans stop saying “please Sirs, may we have another?”

When are Americans going to finally say “NO” to all of this?

With Obama, America will at least have a chance to right 28 years worth of wrongs.

With McCain and this Alaskan Fruit Loop circus, you might as well hammer the final nail into this country's coffin, because it will then be handed permanently and entirely to the wealthy, the corporations and their mercenaries.

Not really a hard choice in my book.

You would think.
