As in "I've got your back covered"? Looks like she's already in Ruppert's sites. Saying she's smart is an understatement, so I'm sure she's realized her new visability will bring some unwanted attention as well. I'm prepared to start sending off emails to...whoever, for whatever support it affords.

As expected, "Page Six" took Rachel Maddow's comments yesterday about them "making things up" as a cue to add her to their stable of characters they, well, "make things up" about. Problem is, there's not a lot of juice to be squeezed out of Maddow — she's pretty mild-mannered, and there's only so much you can do with the lesbian thing before you get GLAAD all up in your business. Which is why, we imagine, the column has decided to combine her with Olbermann, creating an altogether new character: the Olbermann-Maddow two-headed beast!

"She is Olbermann's protégé and is behaving like he does," said one insider. Olbermann — who never went to the Republican National Convention (as Page Six first reported) because of his assassination fear — succeeded in getting rid of GOP analyst Mike Murphy. Let's see who's next to get hacked under the dynamic duo's ax.

Thats a story in itself. I thought they were trying to keep him and tweety separated cause of their spat. This makes much more sense.
