Yeepers the media is going overboard on Palin
I knew Faux would and others would give her a free ride, but yeepers its like they are making her into an icon, after one speech, I hope Biden tears her a new one during the debate.

1. he will
I have actually seen Biden in action--he is brilliant. There is a reason he has been in office for so many years. She can kiss her ass goodbye.

4. This is under the heading "There's no such thing as bad publicity"
Palin is loud, noisy, irksome, and new(ish). Of course the American infotainment industry is creaming its collective jeans over her. They're gaga over her "news value" because the demonstrate, collectively, an unerring sense of the lowest common denominator that will attract the largest number of eyeballs to their products.

Facts have absolutely nothing to do with. Professionalism is for chumps. Thoughtfulness is for despised elites.

6. The Old Game Is At Play
They love her to hate her...she's a sideshow that keeps on giving. They are building her up to knock her down. THey smell blood in the water with her and they feel if they say good things now, it will innoculate them from tearing her apart later.

The RNC's intimidation game also was at work here...these thin skins got the jeebus scared out of them with the uproar of their "vetting" and asking questions...ao they kissed up to get out of town in one piece. Now she "owes" them...either interviews or gaffes or both.

She's gonna head back to Northern Exposure and be hidden away...stage managed and it'll be interesting how long the corporate media goes along with this. It's just a matter of time that another Palin scandal will pop out and create more "news" and headlines.

The candidate are wise to ignore her and let her "Quayle" herself.
