John Kyl: Freddie and Fannie are Democrats fault |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-07-08 10:17 AM by Texas Explorer
He said that three years ago repuplics warned the GSEs were in trouble but Democrats in Congress did nothing.
Funny, asshole Kyl, that republics were the ones in charge until TWO years ago and are the one who created the fucking financial mess we're in now.
Edited to add: Heard on CNN.

3. REPUBLICANS ARE LIARS. It's that simple. |
|
You can't trust anything a Republican tells you.
I saw that interview, too, and nearly threw up. Kyle said twice that Republicans have been in favor of more financial regulation, but Democrats oppose it.
Memo to Gov. Tim Kaine (who was part of the segment, giving the Dem POV): Use the "L" word ferchrissake!
When a Republican tells a lie, tell the viewers the Republican is lying.

5. Republicans lie more than meth addicts |
|
At least when the meth addict scams enough money for a fix, he will quit lying for a while.

4. The Bush Administration runs the government |
|
agencies not the dems. The dems can't change how the Bushies run the country without passing legislation to overrule the administration. Even when the dems propose legislation it won't pass the senate when the repukes filibuster it (dems need 61 votes to override the repukes), so nothing gets done. How is that the dems fault? Let's hope we sweep the senate races and get the 61 needed votes to prevent this.
