CNN complained this morning that MSNBC is a "liberal bastion"...
and that MSNBC is intollerant of any other point of view.

Since CNN seems to be intollerant of any form oc common sense, I will be watching the "liberal bastion" instead.

What respect I had for CNN is completely gone. I don't even trust their weather forecasts any more, so I am boycotting the entire fucking network.

2. MSNBC's coverage of both conventions was top-notch from a technical point of view
Their audio and video quality blew away all the others.

6. So did their reporting - CNN was unwatchable.
Didn't see much of the Repub convention, but what I saw on CNN made me angry.
CNN covered the Dem comnvention by having Repubs criticizing it, then covered the Repub convention by having Repubs criticize the Dems on the program.

I have had enough.

5. And that's bad because...
I definitely do not agree that MSNBC is a 'liberal bastion'. They are about the only outlet that airs liberal points of view, with 'Countdown' and now Rachel's new show. That is all we've got right now.

I watched a little bit of CNN yesterday afternoon, but as soon as Rick Sanchez aired that flag story, I turned the channel. Life is too short to waste your time listening to right wing fueled propaganda. CNN has very little credibility, and yesterday was the longest I watched it in the past several years.

16. Doesn't CNN also provide Glenn Beck with a sinecure?
They're probably jealous that Faux's unofficial slogan is "wholly without merit," and they're trying to wrest the title.

There is FAUX News for conservatives and MSNBC for the libruls (as told by the whinny right of course). They MUST become the anti-faux news to stay alive but is owned by the right...

24. Telling the truth has become "liberal"
none of the networks are liberal at all, how could they be when they are all owned by major corporations. This country has become so right-wingized that today just telling the truth makes you a "liberal"!!

21. The ability to present something other than the White House line is now considered pandering?
To many of us, the only hour on MSNBC that was tolerable was Olbermann. And now we'll get two, him and Maddow. That's not a bastion, that's something approaching balance. Balance to CNN means giving right wing lunatics 99% of the air time. Wolf Blitzer let's blatant lies get told without any follow through, and he's supposed to be a moderate. So here's the formula:

99 vs. 1=Balance (CNN style)

CNN basically just admitted who freaking right-wing they are.

CNN is horrible and the only thing, two things, good about MSNBC is Maddow/Olberman. Amy Goodman is by far, the best.

35. Has CNN ever complained FOX is a "conservative bastion?"
Hmmmm. Interesting that an assumed left-wing press would complain about another being too left wing -- and not ever bother to complain about right-wingedness of a right-wing station.

Hmmm.

Hmmm.

37. Well I gave up on CNN and most TV in '04 - they must be frustrated
They sort of lost their rudder when Ted Turner sold out. They figured they could be ultra RW like FOX but it didn't work out that way. Now MSNBC has figured out that the liberals will occasionally watch them if they give us Maddow and Olberman. So where does that leave CNN? Of course, they could take a different tack and pay for even-handed investigative reporting, but they won't.
