Point of Curiosity: What's the most recent book reading list of Obama and McCain?
Edited on Sun Sep-07-08 01:31 PM by Whoa_Nelly
Am currently reading Ron Suskind's book, The Way of the World: A Story of Truth and Hope in an Age of Extremism

Have also read Naomi Wolfe's, The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot,
and Scott McClellan's, What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception

I plan on reading next Vincent Bugliosi's, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder.

So, am curious if either of the candidates have also been keeping up with a current book reading list...

(Serious? question: Can McCain stay awake long enough, or pay attention for any length of time to even become engaged in reading a book longer than say, My Pet Goat  )

1. The Black Swan
by Nassim Nicholas Taleb.

Just trying to put facts into a larger context of meaning.

That's when I'm not buried in Marks' Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineers at the moment.

But I don't know what the candidates are reading and I have a sneaking suspicion that I would prefer not to know what Palin reads.

2. Palin: My Pet Moose?

"When A Moose Wants A Cookie"?

"Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear"?

Or, "How To Dress Like A Moose"?

oh...guess that would actually be, "How To Dress Out A Moose (named McCain)" :P

3. she reads?
Besides the Bible, that is. I somehow doubt reading is high on her list. Maybe some practical things like 101 Recipes for Mooseloaf or Field-stripping your M-16.

4. I thought
"End of America" was Naomi Wolfe. Naomi Klein wrote "Shock Doctrine"
