ESPN totally jumped the shark tonight |
|
I'm flipping channels earlier and came across ESPN 2. They had a show called "NASCAR Now" on and guess who was the featured attraction? Cindy McCain that's who. Something about how she likes fast cars. They showed her husband in the first part of the segment. Michelle Obama's brother was a pretty good basketball player and is now coaching the Oregon State Beavers so let's hope that ESPN can do a feature on them as well. Somehow I doubt it though.

|
I get to watch my football games at the sports bar if I dont have a ticket to see it in person. Aside from that, no downside to ditching cable

4. Thank you for posting this. Normally I watch ESPN, but I avoid NASCAR-redneck shit. |
|
So, I wouldn't have seen this.
Nice to know, we have to keep an eye on the enemy.

and ESPN did the story about the Obama campaign first, so they are being fair and balanced.

10. Thank you for posting this |
|
And I wish to add a correction of my own. The show was not a NASCAR show, but something called 360 or something like that. I apologize for my errors.

11. A couple of weeks ago 360 did a story on Obama and Reggie Love |
|
It was a very good program. That showed the relationship between Reggie and Obama. I saw another feature on Obama and his love of basketball.
Espn has been very fair, actually they've given Obama more air time.

Sportscenter did do a segment on Obama last week about his love of basketball and the White Sox. It was about five minutes worth of material and was pretty interesting. Just so everyone knows.

14. I used to love ESPN until that whole Limbaugh debacle. |
|
I didn't watch it once the entire time that POS was on. While I watch them from time to time for games, I absolutely hate their commentary.

15. Does McCancient know what kind of "fast car" he drives? Nope. He had to ask an aide. |
|
http://politicalirony.com/2008/08/23/mccain-forgets-car/Last week, McCain couldn’t remember how many homes he owns. Now, Think Progress points to a 2007 interview when he not only didn’t know how many homes he owns (in the interview, he was only willing to admit to two homes, when the real answer is at least seven), but amazingly he didn’t know what kind of car he drives. Instead, he had to ask a nearby aide, who replied “A Cadillac CTS”.
Who doesn’t know what kind of car he drives? Does he even drive anymore? How old do you have to be before they take away your license?
And what kind of person drives a Cadillac CTS, anyway?
