10. I sent an email to the View last nite letting them know that I

was turning them off for good. I asked if they were going to allow that little witch to spew her repig venom everyday then they needed someone as equally passionate on the other side. Republibot Hasselblech making that claim smacks of FoxNews' "some people say" in that it smells like 100% bullshit to me. I'm sure she would've loved to bring up all sorts of irrelevant conservative talking points when Michelle Obama was on and now she's bent out of shape because she didn't get to. Even if such a list existed (and ftr, I think Hasselblech is lying) it lets the show know the Obama camp has her number. She should be more insulted that everyone knows she's a vapid, right-wing hack but it probably never occurred to her.

And of course Cindy McCain felt perfectly comfortable appearing on The View--who wouldn't, as long as they have a braindead cheerleader sitting right beside them and applauding everything they say?

22. Curious phrasing from Ms. Hasselbeck

"She didn't come with a list of topics that we weren't allowed to touch." Notice that she's not saying that this certain other unnamed wife had an actual list of topics, just that there is a list of topics somewhere which are forbidden for Elisabeth to delve into. Now, who might be promulgating such a list, and what do you suppose might be on it? That is to say, did Barbara Walters tell Elisabeth that she couldn't "confront" this unnamed wife over whether her husband had been born in the United States or if he attended a madrassa when he was a kid?

We are apparently not supposed to know. It's enough for Hasselbeck to hint darkly at some kind of censorship and leave it to the fevered imaginations of her fans to fill in the blanks. Hasselbeck knows she will never be called to account for her comment, no one will ask her for any specifics, and she can be a latter day Joan of Arc, burning on the pyre of librul censorship. Oh, so holy and righteous!

25. What pissed me off more was Joy's non-retort on Larry King last night

Larry showed the clip of Hasselbitch saying this.
And then Larry asked Joy if it is true.
Joy started by saying "how cute" Hasselbitch is and then said, "I don't know anything about that. I don't know anything about that."
If it ISN'T TRUE -- which I am very sure it is not -- then why couldn't Joy just say, "Not true, not true."
This week, Hasselbitch played propaganda video from the convention, McLame's daughter was on yesterday and McLame himself and his wife are on either tomorrow or Friday.
This is like my 3rd or 4th post on the View since I signed up on DU a week ago and I'm making myself look like an ass.
But I like this show and it's being hijacked by the right wing. Joy and Whoopi aren't fighting back!!!!!!!!!!
