For everyone who keeps asking why the race is tied, I have something
to ponder.

Do you remember that the polls have been close for quite a while, but after Palin was picked, we now hear that the McNuts campaign was nearly in panic mode because he couldn't get the support of the RW base, he couldn't seem to generate ANY enthusiasm, and nobody was paying attention to him. Yet the polls STILL were really close! Why do you suppose that was? We're now flippin out because it doesn't make sense that the race is still tied. Well, since we weren't getting any decent picture of the real campaign status before Palin, why would you think we're getting one now?

The same people who were promoting a "really close race" a few weeks ago are the same people now reporting the desperation that was within the McNuts campaign, and how happy they are now with the Palin results.

It sure seems sto me that we should ignore all the BS we hear.

1. Polls are propaganda to allow the election to be stolen.
It's not close.

Kill your TV and everyone on it.

2. You're probably right, but even on DU, lots of people get excited
about the polls...good or bad! I just wanted to point out that if there really was so much concern in the McNuts campaign before Palin, what makes anyone thing there isn't just as much concern about all the scandals that surround here now?

It still amazes me that any polster would risk his reputation as able to gather good info would push lies!

3. Polls put out by the corporate media are designed to influence opinion NOT measure it.
Here is a link to how the polls are manipulated by sampling or weighing the republican vote higher than the Dem or Independent vote.

For years the CIA has used fake polls to influence election results in countries such as Venezuela and Costa Rico. It has now become common practice in the US corporate media.

Welcome ot the Banana Republic of America.
