GOP's flying attack monkeys slowly picking us apart like in 2004. |

15 minutes after the "Lipstick" the GOP had a news conference with the press setup, and the rightwing media already had their marching orders FOXNEWS/RightRadio/Drudge to go and play it up with a straight-face even though they know it was bullshit.
The Barack Obama campaign is playing the "we are above all this and the American people are too smart to fall for the distractions". Well we are NOT, we fall for it every DAMN time and the GOP knows this.
Damn-it, the Obama's campaign better get off it's high horse and get in the MUD and fight back. This how they took out JK pick pick pick every day with lies and half-trues until Kerry was picked clean. And they are following the same games plan again.....because it works
And they not even started with the Rev Wright crap again........any we all know it's coming.
I'm feeling really down today..........somebody pick me up
Depression rant over. :(

1. Barack called McCain and Palin liars |

In a recent ad. It's not playing here, but I've seen it.
It's still early. Get to work with some Dems at your county party. I'm going to two open houses this weekend.
Also remember to support Senatorial candidates in viable contests, whether or not they are in your state. My Texas Dem senator, Rick Noriega, is running neck and neck with John Cornhole and we actually have a chance. Send him a little folding money love!

It's useless for us to try to win the votes of people who are so right-wing that they wouldn't vote for Obama in a million years. What we need to do is overwhelm them with sheer numbers. Focus on voter turn out and getting people who are already left-leaning to vote. There are enough Dems in this country to absolutely massacre McCain!

The faux outrage combined with the other media games Camp Gramps is playing is diverting his resources to fighting "the media" rather than Senators Obama and Biden. They know their bright shiny new toy is starting to lose its novelty and they needed to goad Obama into jumping into the sewer with them. He didn't and let the corporate media have fun chewing the GOOP apart for their stupidity and arrogance. It was payback for the goading at the RNC and the "baiting the refs" ploy the GOOP has long used is starting to not just backfire but create blowback.
Obama knows what trash talk is all about...but has his goal in mind...that will stuff it in the face of Camp Gramps on Nov. 4. All thsee distractions are sapping the GOOP of their strength and resources as they now are fighting against the media and the Democrats. People are learning about the real Grandma Barracuda and the more they see/learn, the more they don't like. With this ploy, Camp Gramps has shot a lot of its remaining credibility and now have a dilemma with Palin...now that she's the "star", Gramps will have troubles standing on his own. There'll be more distractions...that's what a desperate campaign does...especially one that sees a big disaster looming and will do whatever to try to turn things around.
Obama is not Kerry...this isn't 2004...or 2000...there's a different dynamic ta work this year and the corporate media and hate radio narratives all but ignore it. Depression is what the GOOP hopes you get, don't give 'em the satisfaction...there are 7 weeks of hard work still ahead...focus on the issues that matter...and hit on the bullshit being tossed out. Obama has won on many fronts so far...you don't hear about "experience" or pop star anymore...this final battle will be on his turf as Camp Gramps impodes on all of its own games.
Cheers...

8. But remember we should take the high road, we shouldn't use any half truths |
|
or attack ads, we should only talk about issues, if we don't then we are no better than them. Ethics matter, winning doesn't.
I'm sure there are still people peddling that warm crockpot of shit.
