A question for our AK / wasilla friends.

I had heard that during palin's first term when all the shit was going on that she staved off recall by agreeing to hire a city administrator (whom she later fired as well). Is there any truth to this? and is it possible to find this administrator?

1. I've seen that story several times -- I assume it's true.

It would be interesting to find the administrator.

She fired him as she left office in Wasilla to "ease transistion". Read, make it more difficult for the new administration to get up to speed and find the bodies.

4. This needs to be used then..... as as mayor of a town of around 5k she

needed an administrator!!!! what kind of mayor was she?!!!! how feeble an 'executive' she was to need to hire another body to do the job SHE WAS ELECTED to do!!!! This goes right to her 'experience' and qualifications. We can't hire someone to be an administrative vp!

3. it needs to be brought up A LOT if it is true.

I heard her saying that she took a pay cut as mayor. I'm assuming that that was due to having to hire an administrator. We need to hit her with this if it is true. Are you in AK?
