GOP Plan B: Disenfranchise minority voters through any means they can get away with.

GOP Plan C: Start a war - any war will do, Russia, Iran, Venezuela - it's time to wag the dog again.

GOP Plan D: October surprise - a terrorist attack, capturing/killing bin Laden at the last minute.

Media Plan: Mindless report "he said she said" commentary from Dem vs. Republican operatives and apply no editorial judgement or fact checking to what is said. Treat all comments as equally valid even if they say the earth is flat and the sun goes around the earth. Gone are the days of Edward R. Murrough and Walter Cronkite. 21st century "journalism" is dictation not judgement.

Media Plan B: Distract us with mindless lurid nonsense that at best is local market news. Calling all pretty blonde white damsels in distress - here's your 15 minutes of fame.

Media Plan C: OJ2 - the trial of the next century! Let's keep'em distracted - they don't really need to know what's going on, they don't want to know just how far it's gone.

1. I have this feeling that US special forces will "capture" OBL to great fanfare...

...just before the election, then he will be "detained" in a Pakistan prison to await extradition to the US for trial. Immediately after the election, he will "escape" much to our disappointment.

Pakistan will be blamed, and McCain/Palin will be in the White House.

A lot like Iran holding the US hostages until after Reagan was inaugurated, but with more drama...
