Heavily edited Palin/Gibson interview

What the fuck is up with that? I counted maybe a half dozen obvious edits in the interview...which was what..five to seven minutes long? There were more jump cuts in this interview than a French arthouse film!!!

What did she say that was soooooooooo embarrassingly uninformed that ABC felt the need to cut it out of the aired version?

Not to mention her not having a clue...deer in the headlights look in her eyes...about what the Bush Doctrine was?

4. This interview is worthless in my mind

Let's see her live and in real time. They don't really expect people to buy a product without at least seeing it work. Would you buy a car without a test drive? Would you buy a house from watching a video?
How insulting can this republic party get. If they knew what shame was they'd be filled with it. As it is they're full of something else and tons of it.

Besides doing this on a regular newscast, only MINUTES spread out over days. This is NO way to get a sense of who the person is or what they know. But in her case, when she didn't know, she just kept blabbering. And then it was the ol' Shirley TEMPLE sock-the-fist, smile, and say I-believe-in-the'murican-WAY!1

I got the distinct impression, through the HORRIBLE editing, that somehow the whole interview was rushed, and she was being incredibly long-winded in her answers.

19. In Nightline's version of interview they have fixed all the jumping tape

etc. that were so evident as being edits in the first viewing we had earlier. We saw the same parts of the interview over again, but this time it was smooth and the editing was not apparent. What utter bullshit!
