I had to say it.

I can't be objective. I can't. I have no idea if she did well or not. My husband said she did awful and in my mind she did horribly. She repeated herself, she didn't elaborate on her answers at all, she sounded like a trained seal. Charlie (who I like) looked uncomfortable. It was edited poorly. She came across as arrogant and stupid.

I couldn't help but think of how SMART Obama is, and how well he articulates himself... I kept thinking about his recent appearances on David Letterman, Bill O'Reilly and Keith Oberman.

I have lost a lot of faith in the American People for even liking this woman for one second. She's every pushy PTA parent who thinks their kids are better than yours, that believe their kids are above the rules and who thinks they know how the school should be run.

She's every unintelligent corporate brown-noser who gets a promotion for wearing the right clothes and saying the right things to the right people, even if they don't care about what happens to the company.

She's every executive that steps on the workers to fill her pockets with money, and who becomes insane with power, even if it means the downfall of the corporation and the unhappiness of the workers.

Many years ago when The King, Elvis Presley died, I was quite young and working in a bank as a teller. I had one, extremely upset female customer who was pouring her heart out to me about Elvis' death. She must have really taken it to the extreme at home, because she also proceeded to tell me that she responded to her husband's less-than-flattering remark about Elvis, 'You aren't even as good as the dirt under his toenails.'
It was a strange moment for me - I didn't know whether to laugh, cry, or throw up. But, of couse, I did none of those - just tried to be empathetic to her tale of woe.
